This CME program is FREE to all medical professionals, including physicians, residents, advanced practitioners, dentists, social workers, counselors, pharmacists and medical students.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
• Improve use of best practices in prescribing pain medication
• Increase compliance in use of PDMP
• Identify substance use disorder in their patient population and the process for referral for treatment
• Review the legal ramifications when best practice prescribing is not followed
