The Lackawanna Recovery Coalition’s First Annual Celebration of Recovery will feature inspiring stories of hope from people in long-term recovery interspersed with music by NEPA’ premier blues band, The Merchants of Groove. The event will include free Naloxone giveaways and training, informational booths for treatment providers, advocacy organizations, social service agencies and others involved in the treatment and recovery community. Free ice cream will be provided by Fidelity Bank’s Sweets and Treats Van. The event is sponsored by the Coalition, the Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office and the Recovery Bank.
