COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
• Improve use of best practices in prescribing pain medication
• Increase compliance in use of PDMP
• Identify substance use disorder in their patient population and the process for referral for treatment
• Review the legal ramifications when best practice prescribing is not followed
