Join us for the Lackawanna County Celebration & Walk on Sunday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Nay Aug Park in Scranton, and help us celebrate freedom from the disease of addiction!

THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Registration will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the Recovery Walk at noon, and a Celebration of Recovery starting at 1 p.m., which will feature music from Northeastern PA’s premier blues band, The Merchants of Groove.

There will be dozens of exhibitors and fun for the whole family, including a bounce house, face painter, balloon artist, and stilt walker. Free Naloxone and training on how to use it will also be available. The event, which is held in coordination with National Recovery Month, is organized by the Lackawanna Recovery Coalition, The Recovery Bank, the Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office and the Lackawanna-Susquehanna Office of Drug & Alcohol Programs.
